NIGHTWISH: 'Nemo' In U.K. Charts For More Than A Year

June 4, 2005

Finland's NIGHTWISH truly made an impact with their latest album, "Once". One more proof of the album's longevity is the success of its first single, "Nemo", which is refusing to leave the British Top 40 Rock Singles chart for more than a year now. The track currently resides at No. 15 — with the second single, "Wish I Had An Angel", in tow (No. 20).

On July 25, NIGHTWISH will release "The Siren" as the third single from "Once", with several bonus tracks. For more information, click here.

NIGHTWISH have a number of festival appearances lined up during the coming months. A complete list of currently confirmed tour dates can be found at this location.

As previously reported, NIGHTWISH's "End of Innocence" DVD has been certified gold in Germany for sales in excess of 25,000 copies. The DVD, which entered the official German DVD chart at position No. 2 upon its release in late 2003, consists of 13 tracks of music, including promo videos and various self-recorded live tracks, and about 60 minutes of behind-the-scenes material. The documentary portion has a total running time of 135 minutes and contains footage from over 50 hours of raw NIGHTWISH video tapes, including clips from the first NIGHTWISH concert ever.
